Charles Schotz is a business development and government relations specialist with more than thirty years experience in the Texas State Governmenrt prior to retirement in 1998. Since 1999 to present, Charles has represented a variety of clients in Texas as a Contract Lobbyist registered with the Texas Ethics Commission.

Charles' extensive public service career with the State of Texas, included serving for fifteen years as a liaison to the State Legislature for a large State agency (MHMR), five years as a Program Director in the Office of Attorney General, and five years as a legislative assistant in the Texas State Senate. He also served a two year term on the Board of Directors of the Lost Creek Municipal Utility District. Also, in 1999, he was appointed to the Travis County Appraisal District Board of Review, where he served for six years as the Chairman of the Tax Exemptions Committee.

Charles is a a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin (BA-1967), with majors in Government and Economics.
